This is a hill on the East side of the bay. It is an easy climb up a dirt
road that winds around and up a grassy slope. You can see most of the path
from most of the path, which is a bit different than I am used to. It is
pretty popular and there were several mountain bikers going up and down it.
The view from the top is pretty good, including Livermore, San Fransisco,
and the whole south bay. Half way up there is a cabin where people live
with Llamas outside. Next to that is a public accessible grove of trees
that would make a good resting spot if it is warm. It was rather windy on
top, but not bad if you dropped below the crest of the hill. To my
surprise, Tim's little dog had no problem catching up. The lower part of
the road/trail goes through cow pastures and there are a couple
gates/fences to go through.
