We parked at the Sixth Ave parking area and hiked the loop clockwise (going down to Highway 1 first, then up the south side of Holland Creek to the bridge at the upper end, and then back down to the parking area trailhead).

It was a lovely April day, low to mid 50s and sunny. I hiked in just a t-shirt.
