Final Notes
Here are some final and miscellaneous notes:
· Next time I need to bring an ATM card. Very important. It is very hard to know how much cash to bring, and it is very bad to run out of cash.
· Bring a fanny pack to use when walking around the city.
· Next time bring a light down and a heavy down jacket, and maybe a fleece jacket.
· A buff would be better than a bandana. (One can wear it to keep from burning one’s neck.)
· For the most part, the weather in La Paz was like the fall. During the day it was almost T-shirt weather, but after the sun went down one needed a light to medium jacket. Up in the mountains, it was colder—below freezing.
· Next time need a bigger day pack for a summit back. They suggested a top-loading one.
· Bring a Nalgene-style bottle for pee.
