The trail initially follows Tonga Ridge with some ups and downs with occasional views through the trees.  About 2.3 miles in, the trail to Mt. Sawyer takes off to the left, initially climbing steeply before the grade evens out a bit.

As we ascended, more views came into sight.  We also found patches of blueberries out. 

After lunch on top, enjoying the views, we headed back down. 

It was a lovely hike on a gorgeous warm day, possibly the last warm day of the year.
