Our First Trip to Alaska
Sam wanted to go on some big trip in 2023, and he decided that he wanted to visit Denali, particularly to see it by air.
I was a bit apprehensive about the trip, as the weather forecast fortold rain most of the time we were there, so I expected the trip to be cold, wet, and miserable. In reality, however, while we didn't have perfect weather for the whole trip, we had much better weather than I had expected. In the end, it ended being a much better trip than I feared.
On our way back, we visited my brother John, who lives near Seattle. This was both a good excuse to visit him, but also a means to break up the long east-bound flight.
