Epilogue: Final Thoughts
This trip was interesting and memorable, just not in the way I expected it to be. I figured it to be a “peak-bagging” trip, getting one last high peak—higher than Mount Rainier, but not as high as the others. Instead, it turned out to be a “scare the pants off Jim” trip, giving me more interesting climbing experiences, rather than just a slog uphill.
I had been looking for a different experience than what I had experienced before, and this was certainly that. It was just different in a way that I was not expecting. :-)
