Epilogue: Final Thoughts
Amy and I both really liked San Antonio. I think I could have spent a week there just playing tourist without running out of things to do and see. I’m guessing that it might be a bit different in July and August, when the temperature is over 100, but in April it is really nice.
When we returned, Amy bought a new Kindle to replace the lost one. It turns out that later, she got the lost one returned, so she ended up with a spare.
Notes for future trips:
Overall, we really lucked out with the weather. The big item was that we could have missed the eclipse completely, but fortune shined on us, and it was clear when it counted. Overall, we had some interesting heavy rain-storms, but essentially when we weren’t going around outside. The only exception was going to the second dinner in Wako, when we took an Uber because of the rain.
